Holy HomeGoods

July 30, 2013 by Elizabeth Boland

I had to run into HomeGoods to grab shower curtain liners and I was floored by how much great inventory they had! Usually our local HomeGoods is pretty picked over so I was surprised to see not just great pieces but whole sets like the set of 4 turquoise barstools.

this faux bamboo black mirror….

adorable black and gold side tables

and this fab Dorothy Draper looking side table, had it not been so wobbly I think I may have had to find a spot for it.

ahh I am a sucker for white plates, and white plates NOT made in China- score.

no one would ever know this chair was from HomeGoods. Believe it or not the green fabric was even prettier in person.

HomeGoods is great, but seriously they always seem to have the best inventory when you don’t actually need anything. I’m so proud of myself for walking out with only two shower curtain liners.

About Elizabeth Boland

I am a wife, Mom, and an Interior Designer. I love my job, and I love the fact that I get to work with one of my best friends. My Mom and I are partners in our Washington DC based design firm, Wilson Boland Design. In January 2010, we opened an Interior Design Studio in downtown Bethesda, which has evolved just as much as our business!

I started Haute Indoor Couture in the spring of 2011 to share portfolio pictures, inspiring ideas, and fellow designers with our clients and friends. I live for Interior Design and I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm with my readers. Most of the content you will find here is interior design, architecture, fashion, or canine related. Ready for your next project? Let's work together!
